"In each action we must look beyond the action at our past, present, and future state, and at others whom it affects, and see the relations of all those things. And then we will be very cautious.
Blaise Pascal.
How often do we stop to think about what we are doing? How often do we think about who and how it will affect, and whether we would want this? How often do we think about whether our action will take us towards our goals or away from them? How often do we even have a goal for our actions?
Most of us tend to do things as if we were sleepwalking. We just follow our habits without stopping to think about whether they are even relevant to our lives any more. We do things without stopping to think about whether this is going to help us or hurt us, or others. We don't consider how our actions will change other things in our environment. It is time to be more aware of what you are doing. Think about your actions before you do them. Then you won't regret them so much later.
