"Balance is the key to success in all things. Do not neglect your mind, body, or spirit. Invest time and energy in all of them equally - it will be the best investment you ever make, not just for your life but for whatever is to follow."
Tanya Wheway
You were meant to be person who is not rich with poor health, or healthy but spiritually poor, or spiritual but without money. God intended you to have abundance in all areas of your life. If you are lacking in even one area, you will not be happy (which is the measure of being truly successful).
You are the same as your weakest link. If all your links are strong, as they should be, you will be strong. Don't neglect any part of your life.
Over a day, or a week, try to spend equal amounts of time and energy on all areas of your life. Resist the temptation to make one area (your children for example) your whole life. That way, when your children grow up (which is inevitable), or your job is downsized, or your spouse gets very sick, or something like that, you will have other parts of your life to support you while you adjust to the loss of that one area. It won't be your whole life that has collapsed around you. You will feel a lot better, and a lot more able to cope with life.
