Plan

"If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll
fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they
have planned for you? Not much."
Jim Rohn

Are you doing what you want, or what someone else wants? This is an important distinction because when you're doing what someone else wants, even if you say to yourself that you want it because you want the other person to be happy, it is not what you would choose; it is not your own life path, and it is not what will get you the success you want and deserve. Often people rely on someone else to tell them what they should want. Perhaps it is your parents. Perhaps it is a teacher or a religious leader. Perhaps it is the government. We learn early to do what we are told, to do what someone else says we should do.

It is very important that you design your own life plan. Find something that you are passionate about, excited and enthusiastic; not something that you think you should do in order to look good or impress or satisfy other people. Other people don't have much planned for you. They are effectively using you to reach their own goals. But you want to reach your own goals. You were put here on earth for a specific reason; you have a unique purpose that other people don't even know about.
You must find your own path, instead of relying on others to tell you what it is.
