Potential

"Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams.Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in,but with what it is still possible for you to do."
Pope John XXIII

What do you spend most of your time thinking about. For most of us it is our fears, our frustrations, and all the ways we tried and failed to get what we want. We notice the negative things in our lives much more than the positive ones. Perhaps that's often because we are searching for some lesson we can learn from these unfortunate occurances that happened to us. But the best time to learn the lesson from something is as it happens.

What if we made an effort to choose what kind of thoughts we will entertain? What would our lives be like if we focused on our hopes and dreams, on our unfulfilled potential and with what it is still possible for us to do? What if we chose to realize that anything is possible for us because we have so much potential that has been unrealized before now? What would we attempt if we knew that it was impossible to fail? Just imagine how much more successful we would be if we only beleived in ourselves and our unlimited possibilites and potential.
